Throwing One Down Before Hitting the Road

The York Region All-Stars got together to “practice” for the Battle of the Boards II at Vaughan Secondary School. Many of the OFSAA AAAA Champion Vaughan Voyageurs and OFSAA AAA finalists Denison Huskies comprise the majority of the squad. After a light-spirited but lengthy two-hour workout with Vaughan coach Gus Gymnopoulos at the helm the team broke away to head home. But before they left some of the players started an impromptu dunk-off. Darnell Landon, Henry Tan, Zac Marcellline and Kevin Pangos attempted to show their stuff. Marcelline threw down a nice one-hander and Henry Tan slammed home his trademark left handed slam. The surprise in the showdown was Pangos who went up and flushed down a sweet two-hander!
