The Return Of Andrew Wiggins
Published by Gilbert Muako on February 17, 2012
The Huntington Prep Express team is in town this weekend for two games: Friday, Feburary 17th @ 6pm vs. Next Level Prep and Saturday, February 18th @ 5pm against a young Sir Allen McNab Secondary team out of Hamilton.
Rob Fulford, Head Coach, has found major success bringing in top notch Canadian talent into the Express program in the past few years.
Names like Sim Bhullar (New Mexico St) on last year’s team, this year with Negus Webster-Chan, Stefan Jankovic, Tanveer Bhullar, Nevell Provo, Manroop Clair, Xavier Rathan-Mayes and his biggest Canadian star of them all, Andrew Wiggins, who is a 2014 G/F who is taking the high basketball by storm. Has Kentucky, Florida State, UNC and Syracuse already tracking him closely.
Wiggins a Vaughn, ON native and a CIA Bounce member will be home this weekend and is expected as always to generate quite the attention.
This will be his first game on Canadian soil since leading Vaughan Secondary to a 4A OFSAA championship win last March.
The Wiggins return has been much anticipated. Wondering what to expect from the number one player in the nation?… Well check out the most recent mix from this season below.
