Jordan Bachynski is originally a 2008 graduate but put two years on hold to complete his Mormon Mission in Miami, FL.

Before heading to Florida to begin the mission, Bachynski committed to UNLV but re- opened his recruitment as major schools still kept tabs on the 7’2” 245lbs prospect.

Bachynski who had offers from Uconn, BYU, Oregon State, and San Diego, will now be part of the Sun Devils 2010 recruiting class and is expected to sign this November.

He spent a short period of time in Las Vegas attending Findlay Prep. He was also selected to participate in the 2008 PHASE 1 All Canada Classic where he displayed his unexpected athleticism for his size and made coaches aware of his major upside.

Younger brother Dallin Bachynski (2009 PHASE 1 All Canada Select) is at Southern Utah and will also begin his Mormon mission after his freshmen year.
