Audu Picks Siena

Yesterday afternoon Richard Audu (CIA Bounce/ REDA) became the second Division 1 commit of the 2012 class and the first to pull the plug this fall/school year as he made his pledge to Siena College while on an official visit.
“My visit went well, they showed me around the city and I hung out with the guys on the team a lot and had fun with them,” described Audu on his visit this past weekend.
There’s no surprise Audu opted to attend Siena, just a few weeks back when talking to him at REDA open gym run in Orangeville, ON he was extremely excited for his upcoming official visit to Siena, expressed how much he favored them and said there’s a great chance he would just commit while on the visit.
Crieghton, Georgia State and Wagner were all in pursuit of the 6’4 2012 shooting guard’s services but Audu said no school made a harder push for his service than Saints did and he took strong notice of that when making his decision.
“I chose Siena because they recruited me hardest” He said. “They have a great basketball tradition at the school along with good academics. Me and the coaching staff have a really good relationship”
Audu has solid size at two spot and is very active on both ends of the floor. An aggressive slasher to hoop, makes plays in transition and doesn’t hesitate to pull up behind the arc where he’s a volume shooter.
With Siena also being not too far from home, Audu will get a chance to play some home games in front of family, extended family at CIA Bounce and close friends.
“That’s definitely a bonus that comes with going to Siena, its good to know that my support system isn’t too far away and its not too hard for my people to come see me”.
