Bhullar Finds Fit In Xavier

On Thursday April 28th the Xavier Musketeers received the biggest news from the one of the largest players in world, as Center Sim Bhullar gave the musketeer a verbal commitment for their 2012 class.
The Musketeers have been tracking Bhullar for a long period time. He took notice of their persistent recruiting efforts and rewarded them.
“They’ve been recruiting me for a long time and I went to visit a couple of times,” Bhullar said. “I loved it, I just got a good vibe.”
The relationship he has been forming with the program thus far was also something the talented 7-foot-5 Huntington Prep Center couldn’t pass up on.
“I especially built a great relationship with the coaching staff and players. I knew I wanted to be apart of the Xavier family.”
I can’t preach any more about Sim’s improvements. It’s truly an incredible story for him and people who have followed his game prior to his explosion in States and onto the recruiting scene.
I’ve never seen any player make such a leap in their game like Bhullar has over the past two years. He went from a below average 7 footer in the Canadian high school scene to becoming one of most dominated Bigs in North America.
Since heading South for prep school, he has improved every aspect of his play, hands, foot work, size, conditioning and overall athleticism. He is much better when running the floor, can knock down the 15 footer, its an automatic to 2points when he gets the ball down low and can change the facet of a game with his size on the defensive end, blocking and changing shots and getting his hands on rebounds.
Bhullar has tremendous upside. His improvements over the years is a testimonial to how much of a hard worker he is. He will only get better from here on. Bhullar will make a huge splash in the A 10 conference. Xavier has received a big prize!
