2011 Canadian Junior National Squad Selected

On June 22, 2011, Canada Basketball had released the Junior Men’s National roster. Consisting of 12 players, this squad is one of 16 team competing in the FIBA U19 World Championships in Latvia.

The tournament takes place between June 30 and July 10, 2011, where Canada has been pooled with Croatia, Lithuania and Korea in Group B.

As a tune up to the FIBA Championships, the Junior men will participate in the International Youth Global Games tournament in Lithuania. Therein, the Canadians are set to play Latvia, Australia and Brazil on their game a day schedule between June 25 – 27.

These Juniors will look to improve on the 2010 FIBA Americas U18 Bronze medal performance.
