When one thinks of the point guard position, some words that may come to mind are: leader, playmaker, and distributor. Well, Adrian Tomlinson epitomizes all of these and more.

This 5’10″ pinball is regarded as the 6th ranked PG in the nation according to Hoopstars Canada, and is the leader of West Hill Warriors, a powerhouse program in the province for years. Averaging 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists this season; Tomlinson also has the tendency to explode for 30 plus on any given night.

Posting over ten 30-point games as well as a 44 point performance against Markham and a 42 point outing against Nantyr Shores on Ontario’s biggest high school b-ball stage-OFSAA; it’s quite clear that this dude has no conscience on the court.

Aside from doing damage on the hardwood, Adrian takes pride in being one of the older players on the team saying “I like to help the younger guys get adjusted to the team”.

When asked what his role on his team is, Adrian said, “I’m a distributor, I look to get my teammates involved.” Quite surprising considering his uncanny ability to put the ball in the basket.

However, the big question for any senior is: what happens after high school?

Well this bright young point guard is very goal oriented. We asked Adrian about his future plans after high school and he said “I plan to graduate and go to college but I would love to continue to play basketball after high school, I love the game”

Only time will tell what the future has in store for this young and hungry warrior, battling for prominence.
