Edwards Takes Official Visit

Justin Edwards sets an official visit to University of Maine.
Anderson CVI star guard Justin Edwards is off to his best season in his high school career. The 6-foot-2 combo guard made major upgrade to his game and is now getting the type of attention he is been wanting all along.

NCAA Division 1 schools are starting take serious note of the ever improving bouncy guard who is definitely a top 25 talent in the country for the 2011 class.

The weekend of January 22 2011, Edwards will take his first official visit to the University of Maine and theres a good chance he could be the third Canadian on the roster with the Black Bears already having Center Mike Allison (Lynden, Ontario) and  Forward Murphy Burnatowski (Waterloo, Ontario) both sophomores at the program.

Edwards also receiving strong interest from Detroit, Creighton, New Hampshire, St Bonaventure, and Mount St Marys but said that Maine is the standout school in his recruitment. Maine is the only school to offer him thus far, he also likes St Bonaventure and Detroit as the other two schools who have really caught his interest.

He is currently averaging 23.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 4.8 steals per game for Anderson.
