Fred Dure is a 6’3 Freshman Shooting Guard out of Mount Royal, Quebec. A lefty, Dure has several advantages particularly in his penetration. However, he needs to develop his right hand and traffic scoring to become a true force on the offensive end. Going into his sophomore season next year, physical growth is expected. Fred already has a wiry frame which helps him on the defensive end with steals and blocks, averaging 2.4 SPG for his club team, PX Knights. He also needs to improve on his foot speed. Currently methodical in his attack to the basket, he will need to perk up his athleticism in order to become an elite player. As a freshman, he has already developed solid body control and can score from anywhere on the floor. Fred will be dominating Quebec hoops for years to come and is currently among the top prospects in the nation for the class of 2012.
