Kabongo Opens Recruitment
Published by Gilbert Muako on October 31, 2010
It’s been rumored for a long while now about 2011 point guard prospect Myck Kabongo possibly decommitting from the University of Texas.
On Saturday Oct, 30 the Longhorns hit a rough patch as it became official.

Kabongo is Considering Kentucky, Syracuse, North Carolina, Duke and Texas
The 6-foot-2 lightning quick senior guard first gave Texas a verbal commitment almost two years back. With Tristan Thompson and Cory Joseph already at the school serving their freshmen year, there was a excitement built for Kabongo’s arrival in the fall of 2011, making a great Canadian trio that would have a major impact in the Big 12 and beyond.
Kabongo followed the footsteps of close friends Thompson and Joseph when he joined the Findlay Prep program with goals to continue the winning ways and a possible national championship three-peat, now will he do the same with his final college choice?
He still has Texas listed as being a strong candidate for his services but he is also open to North Carolina, Duke, Syracuse and Kentucky.
Should be interesting to see how this plays out.
