Lomomba Inks With The Vikings
Published by Gilbert Muako on November 11, 2011
It was a busy first day of the early signing period, not only was every outlet tracking players officially inking papers to the schools they had verbally pledged to. As expected there would be a few guys who would do both, commit and sign during this time of the year.
One of the two prospects who decided to commit and sign in the early period was 6-foot-4 Canadian Wing Junior Lomomba, who attends Memorial school in Wisconsin via Montreal.
Lomomba made it official Tuesday afternoon in front of friends and family as he announced for Cleveland Sate. Picking the Vikings over Washington State, UCLA, Eastern Michigan and Cincinnati.
“I felt comfortable picking CSU because it was the right fit and a great situation for me to go through. I get along with the coaches very well. They’re great people and players coaches” Lomomba told CROWN. “Got to see the facility, the classes (school in general) and to really bond with the players.. Great city also”.
The Vikings got a top ten 2012 Canadian prospect in Lomomba. He will impact the program right off the jump. He is long, athletic and aggressive. Slashes to the basket frequently, defends with a passion, rebounds pretty well at his size and on top of all that he is extremely coach-able.
Lomomba has represented Canada at the international level as member of the Cadet and Junior Mens Team.
