Long Enjoys First Official Visit To Rice; Plans Two More

Naz Long is one of the top ten best prospects in the Canadian class of 2012 still left in the market and is starting to crack down on his recruitment as time winds down. This past weekend Long took his first Official visit to Rice University and spent some time telling CROWN how things went.
“The visit was really good, a lot more then i expected. The weather was great, the city and surroundings are great and the campus is to nice.” explained Long “I got along with the team like i played with them, and all of them showed me love like i went there. The coaches are all cool and all real, to be honest i loved it out there man it was a great visit.”
Long had a “great” visit he said numerous times, especially due to his good friend and fellow CIA Bounce member and now freshmen point guard at Rice University Dylan Ennis. Ennis was there to guide him through out his time on Campus.
“Yeah man he (Dylan Ennis) held me down! All of them though but Dylan was with me the whole time.”
In the past when talking to Long he mentioned Rice standing out in his recruitment based on his communication level with the coaches but his visit solidifies what he has always felt all along.
‘They definitely stand out now, especially because that being my first visit, they set the bar high and all that.”
When should we expect his decision? Long says “Probably next month after I take all the visits.”
Including Rice, Long holds offers from Miami, Missouri, Iowa State, Dayton, Creighton, and Western Kentucky. He will visit Iowa State this weekend and Dayton “in the next two weeks” as he estimates.
