Michelle Hudyn Verbally Commits to Missouri
Published by Michael Henry on September 30, 2011
On September 29, 2011 Michelle Hudyn (6’2″, PF, Eastwood Collegiate, 2012), gave a verbal commitment to Missouri University.
Hudyn had selected Missouri from among a number of suitors, as we had pointed out a couple weeks ago (see:Hudyn Recruiting Trail Heats Up), but the Kitchener, Ontario native felt the biggest connection with Missouri. “Of all the visits she had, her visit to Missouri, to her, felt more like Kitchener”, said her AAU, A Game Head Coach Yaw Afful, when he described how at home she felt on her visit to the Columbia, Missouri based institution.
Coach Afful believes that if she consistently continues to work hard, she has a chance at making an impact pretty quickly as a Tiger. “She has a solid body, can shoot the 3 and can certainly score in bunches. I think it’s possible that she is gonna play in her first year.”
As her final high school season at Eastwood continues to play out, Hudyn is showing no signs of slowing down. She has already recorded had a couple of monster games in Kitchener, Quad-A play and should continue to do so as the season continues on.
