Recruiting Trail Undecided Oakville Loyola Star PG

Published by on March 1, 2011

As for Mike L’Africain…he’s looking at 4 schools right now…and hoping to hear from a few more before he makes his decision for his post-secondary career for this fall.
Spoke to him this morning and he’s looking at Western, Laurentian, Ottawa and UBC, in no particular order.
Western, Ottawa and UBC are great schools and would be on most kids’ radar if staying in Canada and wanting to play basketball while getting a quality education as well.

Laurentian has piqued his interest somewhat, and although a bit far from the GTA, the program is led by a great coach in Shawn Swords…a former national team player for Canada and 2000 Sydney Olympian.
He’s looking to study any one of Sports Management, General Arts, Business or sociology at University.
L’Africain is also hoping other schools may jump into the picture as well and is still weighing his options.
