Thomas Takes Official Visit To Texas

It’s getting to that time of the year where programs are scrambling, trying to pick up the best available guys in the market and one those top guys is Christian Faith Academy Center forward Kevin Thomas.

This weekend the Texas Longhorns will host the talented 6-foot-8 combo forward as he takes his first official visit.

The Longhorns have shown a great deal of interest towards recruiting Canadian prospects recently and are seeing it pay off with Tristan Thompson and Cory Joseph being key contributors to the top-five program as freshmen.

Thomas is the highest rated Canadian in the 2011 class left and in pursuit of him, along with Texas, there’s Wake forest, NC State, Arkansas, and Missouri. He is planning on making official visits and will make his decision in March.
