Campion Bears Win Holy Cross Tournament

On September 15, 2012, the Campion Bears claimed the Holy Cross Crusader Fall Classic Tournament Title with a 41-34 victory over the Notre Dame Cougars in pre-season, Senior Girls action in Kingston, Ontario.
The two teams that will surely end up being a part any Ontario High School title (OFSAA) conversation, both comfortably made their way through to the Finals. Ajax, Ontario’s Notre Dame, won each of their 4 tournament games by at least 15 while Brampton, Ontario’s Edmund Campion, won each of their 4 by at least 20.
The tournament was the first game action of the young school year for many of the newly assembled, twelve teams that participated and will definitely serve as a barometer for each going forward.
